It is always a pleasure to take archaeology into schools –

Everyone seems to have seen TV programmes about excavations or even visited some sites.

In December I took our portable display to year 3 at Godolphin Prep school to talk about the daily life of Roman Britain. It is often said that a picture is worth a thousand words, well for this class, being able to handle animal bones was worth a thousand textbooks!

At Marcham Primary School I was invited to talk to the whole school in morning assembly about the Trendles Project and invite everyone to the Finds Day on April 9th.
